Governor Carney to Sign House Bill 205 Establishing the Delaware Expanding Access for Retirement and Necessary Savings (“EARNS”) Program
WILMINGTON, Del. – Governor Carney will join Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long, State Treasurer Colleen Davis, members of his Cabinet, advocates, and members of the General Assembly to sign House Bill 205 on Thursday, August 18. This legislation establishes the Delaware Expanding Access for Retirement and Necessary Saving (“EARNS”) program to serve as a vehicle through which eligible employees may, on a voluntary basis, provide for additional retirement security through a State-facilitated retirement savings program.
